The outbreak of the Global pandemic COVID-19 has led to a disappointment in all the sports fans. All the events, right from cricket to tennis are either postponed or suspended.

Another disappointment was the suspension of the Tennis Championships in 2020. It can be another bad news for the fans of Tennis players.

Well, there are a few people who can always find a ray of hope in the darkness. One such example is the former Wimbledon Championship winner Halep.

She says it is a matter of great joy for her, as she can remain the world champion for two years now.

Different Aspects of Tennis Championship Suspension:

CoronaVirus outbreak is now the most significant threat to life. Looking at the danger of COVID 19, all the celebrities, be it from Hollywood, Bollywood, or sports are now locked inside their homes.

The news this week reported the suspension of Wimbledon Tennis 2020 that was to take place in June. Listening to the information, all the fans were highly disappointed. Social media was filled with messages of sadness. Not only the players were sad to miss their opportunity of playing, but also fans were more in pain.

Well, not everyone has the same reaction to all the news. It can be a matter of joy to a few. As soon as the news was announced, the Romanian player Simona Halep tweeted in excitement. She said, “I will not have to give of my title this June. I can remain the world champion for two years now.”

The player, who is 28 years now, is locked in her hometown in Romania for 22 days. She can be seen popping out on her grounds for jogging and then returns inside.

Though the announcement for the cancellation of WTA and ATP tour is extended till July 2020, the player says she expects a longer suspension. She says that the Wimbledon Championships might not take place this year.

Although, it might be true to an extent, as there is no ray of hope to control the fatal pandemic as of now. There is no treatment against the virus yet. Somehow, more than 70 countries across the globe are affected now. The rate of recovery is much lower than the number of people affected by it.

In a Nutshell:

This is the worst reality that COVID-19 hurts the world. Nothing works as of now. Although, if we continue to remain in our home, and take the precautionary measures, there is a possibility we can get over it.

Each country, from the US, the UK, India all say that they might take August or September to open back. The period can be extended. Well, at this time we can just hope and pray as all the predictions have failed so far. We shall overcome through it with time. Things shall start once again; we can be back to our healthy life if we follow what is recommended.
